Yes, you are young, although it's all relative. My teenagers thought a 30-something was old. Of course, you are free to do whatever you want. But, if you start early organizing the most important documents, you'll save a lifetime of scrambling. You will most likely move around a few times before you settle down. You will most likely own more than one car during your lifetime. Marriage, kids, jobs - you get the point. Life happens and things change. Most things are digital, and having a cloud backup is a great idea. However you will always keep your original birth certificate! Your original vehicle title, the deed to your home, and so forth. Having one box with originals will not one more thing to worry about, but give you a sense of calm. You are young, so take the time to get organized now.
